To do this, we must enter into a new era of care, one that honors a range of identities proactively, powerfully, and consistently.
Who We Are
HAIR HAS NO GENDER™ is a 501c3 organization committed to transforming the beauty industry through gender-affirming care and inclusive practices by delivering training, advocacy, and community resources.
We offer professional education and business tools that advocate, respect, and support the well-being of all genders and identities through a human-first approach to hairdressing.

Our mission is to help service providers operate from a place of love, inclusiveness, and acceptance as we celebrate those committed to making a more conscious effort to practice inclusivity.

Our vision is a future where gender-affirming and gender-inclusive haircare is the norm—not the exception. Where beauty has no binary, and every person is met with dignity, care, and joy.
Long-Term Vision
Philanthropy & Advocacy
We envision a future where all trans and nonbinary people have access to affirming haircare. Providing service days with stipend-supported care for underserved LGBTQ+ clients.
Job Placement
We envision partnering with beauty industry brands and platforms to connect allied stylists with inclusive salons and securing sponsorships for our Affirming Service Map. These initiatives support safe, welcoming workplaces and expand access to affirming haircare for trans and nonbinary clients.
Trainings
Offering monthly online trainings for stylists, salon owners, and corporate partners to promote affirming care, alongside “Train-the-Trainer” programs that build regional capacity with beauty brands and expand inclusive practices throughout the beauty industry.

I'M JAMIE DiGRAZIA
Award-winning business owner, stylist, educator & advocate for the LGBTQIA2S+ community.
I chose a career path in the beauty industry so that I could bring positivity and self-assurance to every individual through my passion for hairdressing. After years of practicing inclusivity, it became unequivocally clear that the happiness of my clients, along with my own creativity, thrived most when individuality was respected, emotional safety supported, and a state of mutual trust was established. It’s with this learning experience that I began formalizing an inclusive education business model and gender-free service menu to share with the industry called HAIR HAS NO GENDER™.
What began as a personal practice to a human-first approach to hairdressing has since evolved into a complete training curriculum and community resource designed to lead a progressive movement within the professional beauty industry on behalf of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, the next generation and beyond.
Today, I take pride in the program’s progression, expanded offering, and accessibility to service providers committed to making inclusive adaptations to their businesses. Together, let’s usher in a new era of change for all individuals touched by our industry.
